The Neuromobility Laboratory is proud to highlight the recognition awarded to Joseph Gill Lussier, recipient of the Francophonie Award at the 2025 conference of the Société Francophone Posture Équilibre et Locomotion (SOFPEL).

Conducted within the laboratory and under the supervision of Dorothy Barthélemy, his research focuses on the effects of visual deprivation and prolonged and repeated cervical torsion on postural control in healthy individuals. Using spatiotemporal and frequency analyses of the center of pressure, this work contributes to a deeper understanding of balance control mechanisms.

This award highlights the international visibility of the Neuromobility Laboratory and the impact of Joseph Gill Lussier’s research within the Francophone scientific community.
